CRAFT
After the fermentation of the white wines seizes, the white wine is purified the in the rectification column. A second distillation is carried on with the best known aniseed in the world from “Hinneh” village on the Syrian slopes of mount Hermoun. A third distillation takes place before aging to ensure the high purity of the Arak.
AGING
The Sahara Arak is aged in clay jars for 12+ months.
SERVING
Sahara is best blended at one third Arak to two thirds water. Ice is added to enrich the aniseed flavors. Best enjoyed with grilled meat, fish and chicken. Smooth and rich taste of sweet aniseed and licorice flavor that is very soft on the palate.

CRAFT
Cortbawi Arak is made according to the traditional Syrian way of triple distillation. The white wines are distilled three times in the copper alembic. while during the second time the best known aniseed in the world from Hinneh village is added to the still. Exact heads and tails cuts are made during every distillation to reach the highest spirit purity.

The Cortbawi Arak is aged in clay jars for 6+ months.
